We are taking applications for Second Semester. The Semester starts February 4, 2008 and ends May 26, 2008. We have a Yahoo group you can join for free. Here's the web site http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Mesquiteco-op/

What is a co-op?
In a typical homeschool environment, a parent teaches his/her children at home. In a co-op, children from several families get together in a more formal classroom setting and are taught by one parent who has a talent and desire to teach a particular subject.

About MCH
MCH is a collection of multi-denominational Christians who share a common faith in Jesus Christ as our savior and believe He has called us to raise and educate our children personally with the Bible as our guide. Our focus will be to provide a fun and social learning environment as an additional enrichment to the home school education experience.

MCH is overseen by a volunteer board, which works to ensure that MCH upholds its Statement of Faith and oversees development of the academic and enrichment program. Fees for the classes vary if any. There is a semester fee of $10 per family plus the cost of individual classes.

MCH meets on Mondays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Oaes Drive Baptist Church. Each semester we will provide a variety of classes spanning from infant to 12 th grade. The subjects will range from the basic educational fare of science, math, literature and civics as well as physical education, arts, crafts, piano, drama, or other enrichment classes. Parent participation is a must.

Mission
The mission of Mesquite Co-op for Homeschoolers is to partner with like-minded, Christ-following homeschool families to create an environment that enhances their children's education by providing a balance of enrichment and academic classes while honoring the Lord Jesus Christ in all that we do.

Blessings,
